A huge thank you

Thank you to everyone who took part in the many competitions that took place before and during the day at South Sheep 2014. Here you will find the results from the day from all areas.

Fleece Competition

A fleece competition with several classes was judged on the day by Stephen Spencer, BWMB Wool Examiner. They were staged adjacent to the BWMB stand which is located in the Celebrating Wool Area.

Fine:

Medium:

Cross & Lustre:

  • 1st – Sheila Leech – Wensleydale

Hill & Mountain:

  • 1st – Mrs Margaret Brain – Llanwenog

Natural Coloured

Shepherd of the Future Competition

There were 2 sections, Open and Student. The Open section is for those up to 26 years of age on June 28th, who live and/or work within the South East Region of the NSA. Prize fund for the Open competition was £1000. The Student section is for those in full time education at any agricultural college. The Student section prize fund was £500.
